Conventional wisdom would suggest that by losing Auburn offensive coordinator and fellow Arkansan Gus Malzahn to the head coaching job at Arkansas State, Kiehl Frazier might have some difficulty this spring adjusting to a new set of guidelines.
Instead, Frazier says he's getting more comfortable with new Auburn offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler.
"I think I know this offense, even though we've only been at it just two weeks, probably better than I knew Coach Malzahn's, even at the end. I feel a lot more comfortable."
Frazier has seen more snaps this spring at quarterback with assigned starter Clint Moseley in a limited role because of a sore shoulder. Frazier taking over the top spot would still be an unexpected development, but conventional avenues don't seem to be the routes Frazier is taking down on the Plains.
