In the fall, SEC fans measure success on the scoreboard. February brings a comparison of recruiting rankings.
Turnstiles seem to be the preferred way to gauge superiority in the spring.
Spring game attendance has become yet another way for fans to compare their program to everybody else’s. No surprise Alabama, the defending national champion, is a pretty good draw for spring practice.
With 13 of 14 spring games played, the Crimson Tide led all SEC schools with 78,526 fans. Arkansas sits at No. 2 with 45,250 and could hold that spot as long as Texas A&M draws fewer April 28.
Last season the Aggies drew 16,500 as a member of the Big 12. Will a new coach and new conference make a difference?
Below we look at announced attendance for each school.
