As expected no Arkansas players went in the first round of the NFL Draft. Former Razorback prospects should start getting calls tonight as the draft continues through Saturday.

When they do get drafted, they’ll join nine players from last year's SEC taken in the first 32 picks. In fact, the league accounted for eight of the first 18 players selected (If you want to include Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill going to the Miami Dolphins at No. 8, that's nine of 18 picks.).

This isn't even a SEC record for first-round picks. There were 11 SEC'rs taken in 2007 (Arkansas DE Jamaal Anderson, No. 8 Atlanta) and 10 drafted in 2011.

Below is a look at who was drafted from the league responsible for the last six BCS national championships. Only one offensive player, Alabama running back Trent Richardson, was included. Once Richardson was taken at No. 3 by Cleveland, the NFL made a run on SEC defensive players.
