Arkansas State Coach Gus Malzahn kept spring football practices closed to media and fans. They got a view of the spring game, but that was it.

An Emmy award winning documentary film crew, however, had free run of the place.

ASU is featured in a series of films on YouTube entitled “Red Wolves Revival.” They chronicle the first spring of the Malzahn era, including this gem from the coach to a fatigued player:

“I don’t give a crap if you throw up out there. You’ve got to fight through stuff.”

A few of the videos are below. A total of eight are expected to be released [here] by the end of fall camp in August.

ASU hired 3 Penny Films for the project. Auburn (former home of Malzahn) is among the clients for 3 Penny Flims, an Emmy-winning outfit.
