Reynolds' Double Breaks Open Scoreless Game, Helps Razorbacks Past Missouri Tigers

Arkansas pitchers pitched a four-hit shutout and Matt Reynolds had two RBIs to lead the Razorbacks to a 2-0 victory over Missouri.

Wednesday's game remained scoreless until the sixth inning, when Reynolds hit a two-run double down the left field line. The Tigers (23-21) managed to get runners on base in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings but couldn't score.

Reynolds went 1-for-1 to pace Arkansas (33-13).

Michael Gunn (1-0) allowed no hits or runs in 1 2-3 innings of relief for the Razorbacks. Barrett Astin earned his eighth save of the season, allowing one hit and no runs in one inning.

Jake Walsh (2-3) took the loss, allowing one hit and two runs in 1 1-3 innings of relief for Missouri.
