Predictions are still mixed about where Missouri will fit once it begins playing a full-time SEC schedule. The Tigers did begin the season with a 2-1 series against Auburn, but have lost a series to Texas A&M and just this week, suffered a sweep at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Missouri faces a 1-1-1 record against Arkansas teams: while they did manage to beat UALR, the Tigers split a series with UCA at Columbia.
The Arkansas losses extended Mizzou's current losing streak to four. The Tigers will play host to current conference rival No. 25 Texas next. While Missouri hopes to snap its streak, the Longhorns enjoy an unusual advantage: Since 2009, the Longhorns have won 24 of their last 26 Big 12 Conference series.
