Suspended Arkansas players Marquel Wade, Mardrecus Humphrey and Andrew Peterson were released on bond Sunday following their arrest on felony residential burglary charges.

Wade posted $2,500 bond, while Humphrey and Peterson posted $3,500 each prior to their release at 4:18 p.m. All three were arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing nearly $5,000 in books, DVDs, cash and laptops from unlocked dorm rooms.

Humphrey and Peterson face nine counts each of residential burglary and Wade faces one count after video review and witness interviews led police to the trio. A May 1 theft call regarding a stolen laptop began a weeklong investigation that led to 10 reports of stolen items.

Surveillancee cameras showed suspects walking the halls of the Northwest Quads, looking for unlocked doors.

Wade, Peterson and Humphrey face a June 15 court appearance.

“Poor conduct and misbehavior will not be tolerated and is not what we expect from the University of Arkansas football program,” Coach John L. Smith said through a spokesman.
