JONESBORO - Arkansas State could get a shot at the Sun Belt Conference regular-season title if the Red Wolves sweep a series with Arkansas-Little Rock that begins Thursday in Little Rock.

The Red Wolves (29-21, 16-9) trail Florida Atlantic by one game and would need victories in all three games to get a chance at winning the conference title outright. The Trojans (26-25, 12-15) are tied for sixth and could secure a berth in the eight-team postseason tournament May 23-26 in Bowling Green, Ky.

Arkansas State leads the series with Arkansas-Little Rock 59-39 and has won six straight over the Trojans, including a three-game sweep in March.

Game times are 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
