Arkansas heads into the SEC Baseball Tournament with some momentum.

Thanks to a three-game sweep at Tennessee the Razorbacks enter with four consecutive victories and the No. 6 overall seed. They’ll begin the tournament ranked No. 25 by Baseball America, a week after dropping out of the poll.

Arkansas (39-17, 16-14 SEC) opens the tournament on Tuesday against No. 7 seed Mississippi State (34-21, 16-14). Baseball America has the Bulldogs ranked No. 24 this week after they were unranked in the May 14 poll.

Mississippi State went 3-1 last week and has won 11 of its last 15 games, including a sweep of No. 11 Kentucky.

Ole Miss and Kentucky open the tournament Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and the Bulldogs-Razorbacks game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the tournament opener.

Arkansas took two of three from the Bulldogs earlier this year. Mississippi State won the opener, but dropped the final two games to the Razorbacks.
