There is a significant change coming at Razorback Stadium this fall.

We're not talking coaching change. This is bigger.

It's a cola change.

Pepsi will soon become the official beverage of the University of Arkansas, according to a report on ArkansasBusiness.com. It’s a UA-wide move, so the types of beverages available at campus sporting events will change, meaning no more Coke products.

Here’s more from AB.com:

For the next 10 years, Pepsi products (and Dr Pepper) will replace Coca-Cola in all campus soft drink fountains and will have the right to 80 percent of shelf space in convenience stores and similar outlets on campus.

The original request for proposals for the "Sponsorship and Pouring Rights Agreement" estimated the value of the contract at $19 million. "We expect that the final contract will have a final value very close to those original estimates," UA spokesman John Diamond told ArkansasBusiness.com.

As our buddy Lance Turner, internet editor for AB.com, jokes on Twitter: “So now you gotta smuggle alcohol AND Coke into Razorback games.”

Pepsi AND black uniforms? What is this world coming to?
