A big asset of Little Rock's Affiliated Foods Southwest Inc. has exited the company's bankruptcy estate.

Tom Bartholomew, founder and owner of CalArk Trucking, bought the former Affiliated Foods headquarters at 12103 Interstate 30 at auction for $1.7 million.

The 64.2-acre development is home to four warehouses with 566,000 SF under roof, two office buildings totaling 8,100 SF and a 7,000-SF service garage.

We couldn't track down Bartholomew to ask him about his plans for the property.

CalArk's 29.3-acre corporate development at 12024 I-30 is across the interstate from the former Affiliated property. The truckload carrier operates a fleet of 600 tractors and 2,000 dryvans.
