Super Mover: Laura Jacobs

Laura Jacobs, director of communications for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, will coordinate and oversee marketing, public relations and branding for the new museum in Bentonville.

Background:
Jacobs, a native of Fayetteville, has a bachelor's degree in English and communications from the University of Arkansas, where she has worked for the past 13 years.

Experience: She has worked in the UA's University Relations office in various positions since 1998. Her most recent title was senior director of strategic communications, which included work with athletics, student affairs, Information Technology Services, the World Trade Center and the University of Arkansas Press. She also served as managing editor of Arkansas Magazine, the quarterly publication of the UA Alumni Association.

She is a proven leader in this field and will be an asset to our communications team," said Sandy Edwards, Crystal Bridges' deputy director of museum relations.
