We regret to inform you that on June 29, 2011, Yarnell’s Ice Cream Company, Inc., (“Yarnell’s”) will cease doing production and will permanently close its manufacturing facility in Searcy, Arkansas and all of its distribution centers in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. The information contained herein serves as full satisfaction of Yarnell’s obligations under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (“WARN”), 29 U.S.C. § 2101, et seq. and applicable state law. There will be a brief phase-down of operations at Yarnell’s, with the first employee terminations to occur on July 1, 2011. Following the brief phase down period, the entire facility will be closed no later than August 27, 2011. Your employment termination date from Yarnell’s is July 1, 2011.
