Democrat-Gazette Signs Up With Copyright Enforcement Firm

Outtakes readers should not have been surprised by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's report last week on the activities of Righthaven LLC of Las Vegas, which has a contract to sue Internet sites, including casual bloggers, that post copyrighted material from Stephens Media properties.

Outtakes told you that a couple of weeks ago.

But the Democrat-Gazette did throw in a nugget of news: Wehco Media, the company through which Walter Hussman owns the Democrat-Gazette, also intends to work with Righthaven to enforce its copyrights.
