Goodwill, Savers Thrift Stores Find New Venues

Brian Itzkowitz, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, said the current retail climate has made large spaces more affordable for the nonprofit.

In recent years, as thrift store shopping has become socially acceptable, many thrift stores have come to resemble traditional retailers, with large, well-lit stores, several of which have opened in former big box spaces.
