Clear has ceased operations at Little Rock National Airport.

Clear's parent company, Verified Identity Pass Inc. has been unable to negotiate an agreement with its senior creditor to continue operations.

Clear customers will receive e-mails from the company making them aware of the action and to provide them with contact information or further details.

The Clear Registered Traveler Program provided members with a biometric identity card that allowed them expedited access through airport security checkpoints for an annual fee of $99.95. Once pre-screened and approved by the Transportation Security Administration, applicants started their membership at flyclear.com and completed the process in person at an enrollment center.

Clear opened in 2004 and served 20 airports around the country. Clear announced the opening of the local enrollment center at Little Rock National Airport in August 2007.
