The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with eight undrafted free agents to help fill out their roster, a group led by Arkansas quarterback Alex Mortensen. The son of ESPN commentator Chris Mortensen, Alex Mortensen spent his college career as a reserve quarterback.

Dave Van Horn's Arkansas Razorback baseball team didn't move up much after defeating Oral Roberts in a mid-week contest before taking two of three from SEC foe Tennessee over the weekend. Collegiate Baseball, which had the Hogs at No. 1 previously, currently has the team ranked at No. 7.
 
UCA senior Nicole Forshner was named the 2008-09 Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Year on Monday. A native of Banff, Alberta,  Forshner claims her second consecutive golfer of the year award after leading the conference with a 75.23 stroke average in 30 rounds of play with four wins and 13 top-10 finishes. 
 
And Arkansas basketball coach John Pelphrey sent out an interesting letter that alludes to his players' off-court antics last season, promising that he "will never compromise our program for the sake of winning a game." Pelphrey also reiterates that he hopes to improve next year.
