A news conference "to discuss new information" in the search for missing Little Rock businessman John Glasgow has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and a candlelight vigil will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the pavilion in Allsopp Park in Little Rock.

"We've given up on Petit Jean Mountain, at least for now. We've combed that whole mountain and surrounding area with a fine-tooth comb and come up with nothing except his car," Glasgow's brother, Roger Glasgow, told ArkansasBusiness.com on Tuesday.

Glasgow, 45, chief financial officer for CDI Contractors of Little Rock, was last seen leaving his home on South Lookout Street about 5:15 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28. His car, unlocked and with his laptop computer and cell phone inside, was discovered the next day at Mather Lodge in Petit Jean State Park.

More than 125 comments on the Glasgow disappearance have been posted online here and here.

The family is also maintaining a Web site dedicated to the search at www.findjohnglasgow.com.
