Arkansas State Fair Ranked Among Top 50 Fairs

For the fourth time in the last five years, the Arkansas State Fair has been named one of the top 50 fairs in North America by CarnivalWarehouse.com.

The site ranks more than 5,000 fairs, festivals and expositions based on attendance.

With a total attendance of 441,535 for the 10-day Arkansas State Fair, the 2007 fair ranked 43rd among all fairs and festivals in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The list was topped by the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.

The 2007 Arkansas State Fair set an all-time attendance record, up 2 percent from the 2006 attendance of 433,062.

The Arkansas State Fair has been ranked on the list's top 50 in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
