Longtime morning ratings horse Bob Robbins, the cowboy-hat-wearing disc jockey on KSSN-FM, 95.7, recently got word that the country music scene’s bigwigs in Nashville were tipping their hats in his direction.
Country Radio Broadcasters announced last week that Robbins will be inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame, along with Bill Cody, who is a radio personality at WSM-AM, 650, in Nashville and a Grand Ole Opry member.
The two will be honored, along with three radio executives being inducted into the Country Music Radio Hall of Fame, at a March 4 ceremony at the Nashville Convention Center.
