The Stanford Group Co. of Houston has bought the wealth management teams from StillPoint Advisors in Little Rock for an undisclosed price.
The purchase price also included the management team from StillPoint's Boca Raton, Fla., office, which had nine employees, according to Stanford's news release.
In Little Rock, Stanford will keep StillPoint's seven employees and remain in the River Market.
"These new hire acquisitions and the opening of the Little Rock office are part of Stanford Group Company's continued expansion of its Private Wealth Management Division throughout the Southeast," the news release said.
Stanford Group Co. is part of the Stanford Financial Group.
