Cooper Land Development of Rogers, which announced plans for its first subdivision in Little Rock in February, is set to go with a builder lot draw on Tuesday.

The newest Cooper community, called Sienna Lake, is a 360-acre, single-family residential neighborhood that sits north of Otter Creek on Crystal Valley Road. It will have about 600 homes and a community recreation center near a 16-acre lake on the property.

The first phase of the project includes the development of 78 80-by-130-foot lots, with an average price of $43,000 per lot. A builder lot draw is scheduled for 8 a.m. Sept. 26 at the Holiday Inn Select in west Little Rock. Individuals may begin reserving lots at 8 a.m. Sept. 27.

"Cooper has enjoyed considerable success in Arkansas with the development of Hot Springs Village in Garland and Saline counties and Bella Vista Village in Benton County," said Randy Brucker, president of Cooper Land Development. "We are thrilled to bring our concept of planned living to Little Rock."

Re/Max Properties of Little Rock will sell and market Sienna Lake. "Re/Max is proud to be associated with Cooper Land Development and its sound reputation in residential development," said Val Hansen, owner and broker for Re/Max Properties. "Sienna Lake will serve as an outstanding addition to their company."

Cooper Land Development is part of Cooper Communities Inc., which is developing projects including timeshare resorts and planned communities in eight states. It owns and manages more than 3.5 million SF of commercial property. The company's resort and planned communities have attracted more than 125,000 owner families.
