Rose Law Firm of Little Rock announced on Tuesday that Stephen N. Joiner has been named the firm's new CEO.

The announcement of Joiner's election coincides with former Rose Law Firm CEO Ron Clark's decision to leave the firm for a position as general counsel for the Stephens Group LLC, which released restructuring plans on Monday.

Joiner, who joined the firm in 1987, has been as the firm's litigation practice manager and has served on the firm's executive and compensation committees.

Joiner has formerly served as the chairman of the business law committee for the Arkansas Bar Association.

Founded in 1820, Rose Law Firm is the oldest law firm west of the Mississippi River. The firm provides legal services in commercial law, corporate and securities, environmental law, estate planning, litigation, health law, labor and employment law, public finance, real estate, and other areas.
