Acxiom Corp. of Little Rock said Monday that Michael J. Durham, former director, president and CEO of Sabre Inc., has been named to Acxiom's board of directors.

Before Durham's time at Sabre, a public company providing information technology services to the travel industry, he spent 16 years with American Airlines, where he worked as senior vice president of finance and CFO.

Durham is now the non-executive chairman of the board of the Asbury Automotive Group Inc., a public company in the automotive retailing industry; chairman of the audit committee and board member of AGL Resources Inc., a public company in the natural gas industry; and a member of the board of Bombardier Inc., a large Canadian manufacturing company.

Durham filled Harry C. Gambill's board vacancy after his resignation on Feb. 28. Gambill, president and CEO of TransUnion LLC, had been on the Acxiom board since 1992.

Shares of Acxiom (Nasdaq: ACXM) were trading at $26.13 on Monday after closing at $26.18 on Friday.
