Alltel to Lease Space at Fidelity Campus

Don't look now, but Little Rock's Alltel Corp. is moving back into its old Alltel Information Services space.

Fidelity Information Services - which is what became of AIS after Fidelity National Financial Corp. of Jacksonville, Fla., bought the Alltel subsidiary in April 2003 - owns the property and its four buildings on Cantrell and Rodney Parham Road in west Little Rock.

In the past couple of weeks, Fidelity shuffled almost all of its workers out of Building 3 and into Building 2. Only a cafeteria, some training rooms and a computer workroom remain for Fidelity's use in Building 2.

The build-out for a new tenant has begun and, we're told, that tenant is Alltel.

Alltel has been looking for additional call-center space and a home for its wireline operations, which are being spun off and merged with Valor Communications of Irving, Texas.
