Bill Kennedy Takes General Counsel Post With Cooper Communities

William H. Kennedy III, senior partner in the Rose Law Firm of Little Rock, has joined Cooper Communities Inc. of Rogers as general counsel.

Kennedy made the announcement at the Downtown Kiwanis Club of Little Rock, where he is the current president. He said he was resigning from the club because he was moving to northwest Arkansas.

At the Rose firm, Kennedy focused on commercial, corporate and securities, real estate, and banking law.

He served as associate counsel to President Bill Clinton from 1993-95 before returning to Little Rock.

Cooper Communities has planned communities in several states, including Bella Vista Village and Hot Springs Village in Arkansas, Tellico Village in Tennessee, StoneBridge Village in Missouri and Glade Springs Village in West Virginia.
