Speaking of empty commercial space, have you heard about a deal to fill the former home of Target in west Little Rock?

We understand that Arvest Bank in Little Rock has struck a deal to buy the location from the Doyle Rogers Co.

When asked for details, Arvest officials offered a "no comment." Officials at the Doyle Rogers Co. couldn't be reached for comment.

The empty location in the West Village Shopping Center at 801 John Barrow Road involves about 80,000 SF.

Stay tuned for more.
