First Federal Appoints Christopher Wewers to Board of Directors

First Federal Bancshares of Arkansas Inc., the holding company for First Federal Bank, announced Monday that its board of directors appointed Christopher M. Wewers as a member of the board of directors of the company and bank.

Wewers is an executive vice president and the chief operating officer of the company and the bank.

From 2001 until he joined the company in 2011, Wewers served was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Summit Bank and Summit Bancorp of Arkadelphia.

Wewers is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Arkansas.
