Kudos: Arkansas Businesses Receive Recognition

Nabholz Construction Corp. of Conway was the first-prize winner of the Healthy Workplace Project Award presented by Kimberly-Clark Professional. Nabholz received the honor for its wellness and education programs, including offering financial incentives to reward employees for healthy behaviors and taking effective hand and surface hygiene steps to reduce the spread of germs in the workplace. The prize is $10,000 worth of health-related products and services.
The Harding University College of Pharmacy has been fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. The college, which opened in 2008, graduated its first class of pharmacists in May. Julie Hixson-Wallace, dean of the Pharmacy College, called it "a big accomplishment."
