Former Washington defensive coordinator Nick Holt is joining the Arkansas staff, according to a Seattle Times report.

In what capacity isn't clear.

Holt, who was fired after the Huskies' 67-56 loss to Baylor in the Alamo Bowl, has worked previously with Arkansas Coach John L. Smith. He was on Smith's staff at Idaho and Louisville.

Arkansas has its full allotment of assistant coaches, but was advertising for several football-related positions during the spring/summer. If Holt is taking one of those is unclear.
