Arkansas Hospitality Association Reveals New Website

The Arkansas Hospitality Association launched a new website last week, but most of its fresh features won’t go live until mid-September.

Ad firm Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods of Little Rock designed the now mobile-optimized AHA Executive Director Montine McNulty declined to discuss the cost of the new website.

Once the AHA’s database of member information is converted over to a new system within the next few weeks, then the organization will roll out some of the website’s features. Those features include a jobs board, online event registration, a calendar, a database of AHA members and a legislative bills tracker.

Holly Heer, AHA spokeswoman, said the bills tracker section would be updated regularly with information on hospitality-related legislation while the state Legislature is in session.

For the AHA’s internal benefit, the new database system associated with the website will sync records, so, for example, a company’s registrations for the AHA’s annual trade show will be stored with the company’s membership information.
