Game Guide: ULM Warhawks Conclude Home Series Against Hogs at War Memorial

Oh, now that's just plain mean.

This story is from the archives of ArkansasSports360.com.

Arkansas returns to its second home at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, playing the first of two games this season to be featured in the state's largest city. Louisiana-Monroe will be the opponent, playing its first game of 2012.

However, in one of those scheduling moves that only Frank Broyles could have pulled, the Warhawks will be the home team on Saturday. (It's too complicated to explain except that it involves a papal edict, the parliament of Hong Kong, revenues derived from the state income tax in Miller County and a casual bet Hattie Caraway lost to Huey Long 75 years ago.)

ArkansasSports360.com columnist Jim Harris talked about what to expect from the Hogs' defense and ULM's first-game jitters Friday on "Today's THV This Morning" with Ashley Blackstone and our very own Lance Turner.
