FAYETTEVILLE — Rogers Heritage (4-0) has done its best this season to solidify its spot among the state's best — including a season-opening victory over Fort Smith Southside.

The No. 6 War Eagles, who were 1-9 last season, will have their best chance to date to show the state they are for real when they host No. 9 Springdale Har-Ber on Friday night. Heritage lost its last nine games last season, but it's averaging 41.8 points per game this season — with help from a 70-21 victory over Siloam Springs last week.

The Wildcats (1-3) have struggled to earn victories against a difficult early schedule and took a 28-7 loss to No. 1 Bentonville last week. Still, Coach Chris Wood is 4-0 against the War Eagles since the school's opening and is eager to rebound this week.
