Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, come on down …

You’re the latest weekly award winner at the expense of Arkansas’ defense. Manziel is the third quarterback this season to be named his conference offensive player of the week after facing the Razorbacks.

Manziel, who set an SEC record with 527 yards of total offense, joins Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Kolton Browning and Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova as players named as their league’s top performers for the week. Browning was also named the national offensive player of the week after leading the Warhawks to a victory against Arkansas.

Not that this is anything new for this program’s defense the past fives seasons. Manziel is the sixth player to be named SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Arkansas’ watch since 2008.

How does this compare to what the rest of the teams in the league have done defensively? Not sure, but we can look at this list below and agree too many players have had big games against the Razorbacks.
