FAYETTEVILLE — Fort Smith Southside has yet to falter in its first season in the 7A-Central.

The No. 9 Rebels (4-2, 3-0) will face their most difficult test yet in their first season after leaving the West when they host No. 3 Conway on Friday night.

Southside lost two of its first three games in nonconference action, both against former conference foes Rogers Heritage and Springdale Har-Ber. It has won its first three conference games since by an average of 50-13.

The Wampus Cats (5-0) beat Fort Smith Northside 47-13 last week. Conway's potentially most difficult game against Jonesboro, however, was rained out.

The Rebels are eager to bring a West feel to the Central this week.
