Gov. Mike Beebe and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission are planning a "significant job creation" announcement for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Rogers.

The event is scheduled to take place in a warehouse at 1300 N. Dixieland Road, which the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal reported last month will become the home to a Florida recylcing company.

Rogers city planners had approved a request by Nextlife Enterprises LLC, based in Boca Raton, for a conditional use permit "to allow recycling and/or reclamation" at the Dixieland address.

The property is a 252,000-SF warehouse built in 2007. The area is zoned for heavy industrial use.

Nextlife makes plastic resins from recycled materials for a wide variety of applications, including consumer and commercial products. The company also helps other businesses with their own recycling initiatives and marketing strategies.

Besides its Florida headquarters, Nextlife has a recycling center in Frankfort, Ky.
