Mike Knoedl Named Director of Game & Fish Commission

Mike Knoedl has been named director of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.

The AG&FC board voted in closed session Thursday morning to name Knoedl as the replacement for Loren Hitchcock, who is retiring.

Knoedl is the former deputy director of the agency. He previously served in the agency's enforcement division.

Hitchcock announced his retirement in April but stayed on until a replacement was named.
