No preamble here. Internet problems kept us from getting on before kickoff. We're living blogging from the Arkansas-Ole Miss game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. TV dictated an 11:21 a.m. start. Not much tailgating for folsk today, either.

Weather is wonderful for football. Clear, sunny, 48 degrees at kickoff.
Arkansas has to win the game to have any realistic hopes at a bowl game — no way are the Hogs going to lose this but still win out against the likes of South Carolina, Mississippi State and LSU to end the season.
The Hogs have brought back out the anthracite jerseys and pants with red and white trim to go along with the red helmets for todays game.
11:30 a.m. 3-0 Arkansas — Arkansas converted a fourth-and-10 on a 3:43 drive to start the game, but the march stalled two feet short of a first down at the Ole Miss 4, bringing on Zach Hocker for a 22-yard field goal to give the Hogs the initial lead.
Dennis Johnson looked good on the drive; Knile Davis auditioned for Dancing With the Stars, though. Cobi Hamiltons was hands and concentration on a 27-yard catch from Tyler Wilson on the game's first place, and he caught a 22-yard slant from Wilson on the fourth and 10 to keep the drive going at the Ole Miss 14.
A decent wind was blowing in Arkansas' face on the drive, out of the north. Wilson was a little off on a deeper try to Chris Gragg, back from 5 weeks out with a knee and leg bruise; and Wilson was a bit off on a shorter toss to freshman Jonathan Williams in the right flat inside the 10 yard line that might have resulted in a touchdhown if complete.
11:39 a.m. — Arkansas gave up one first down when Rebels running back Jeff Scott zigged and zagged through a couple of tackle whiffs near the line of scrimmage, but the Hogs held and forced Ole Miss to punt on the Rebels first possession.
11:50 a.m. 10-0 Arkansas — On play action with a fake to Dennis Johnson from the Ole Miss 42, Tyler Wilson found tight end Chris Gragg behind little Ole Miss linebacker Joe Kight in man-to-man coverage down the m iddle and connected for a touchdown with 5:33 left in the first half.
Arkansas drove 75 yards for the touchdown, with Dennis Johnson again providing several big runs, including a third-down conversion, to extend the march.
Fast Jalen Walton, who had a good kickoff return for Ole Miss on his first try, came close to putting the Rebels on the scoreboard on this runback to the 40-yard line before being tripped up. He looks very dangerous.
