This story is from the archives of ArkansasSports360.com.

Arkansas' bowl hopes may be fading fast, but the Pressbox Roundtable crew is here to tell you why you should or shouldn't toss in the towel just yet as the Razorbacks wind up the season. Also, we touch on the newest rumored name for the Razorback coaching search, Texas Tech's Tommy Tuberville, and we look at the  Alabama-LSU matchup for Saturday night, as well as a big week ahead for Gus Malzahn and Arkansas State football.

Back is our usual lineup of suspects: KTHV, Channel 11, sports anchor Mark Edwards (Twitter: @markedwards1906) and KTHV sports producer-reporter Jessica Duff (@jduff84), ArkansasExpats.com editor and regular ArkansasSports360.com contributor Doc Harper, and KABZ-FM 103.7 The Buzz's Justin Acri. ArkansasSports360.com columnist Jim Harris (@jimharris360) moderates.

Plus, radio talk show host Mickey Ryan joins us from Jonesboro to add his perspective on the ASU/Malzahn situation.

You can catch Edwards, Duff and Acri interviewing the ArkansasSports360.com team of Bahn and Harris throughout the week, and Jim Harris also appears with KTHV's Tom Brannon on Fridays at 6:25 a.m. to preview the upcoming Arkansas game.

Readers, join with the panel. Let us know what you think in the comments section at the bottom of the feature.

Jim Harris: After last Saturday, it seems like there’s little hope for the Hogs from this point on. Convince me the Razorbacks can still make a bowl game.

Doc Harper: All they have to do is win three of their last four. Simple enough, right?

Justin Acri: Ok, they are favored against Tulsa — win No. 4. I give Arkansas a chance in the final three. With Marcus Lattimore out, South Carolina becomes average at best on offense. Arkansas also seems to have Spurrier's number.

Harris: Arkansas has got Spurrier’s attention now, though. He or his AD managed to put a cream puff in front of the Nov. 10 Arkansas game and an open date afterward, instead of having to play Arkansas flat between Tennessee and Florida. But, sorry to butt in; continue.

Acri: Mississippi State was exposed as just another team last week against Alabama. Arkansas, when firing on all cylinders and healthy (yes, Chris Gragg, I mean you), can score enough to win that game. Plus the Bulldogs play A&M and LSU before Arkansas. Last but not least, LSU. We all know that if Arkansas has a bowl trip on the line they will give ’em heck on senior day on the Hill. Also, other than Tulsa, who is taking Arkansas seriously at this point? That being said, Arkansas could finish 3-9. I do think they will probably pick up two more and just miss out on a bowl and, frankly, that may be OK.

Harris: There is something to be said for being home for Christmas instead of trudging over to ice-cold Birmingham for a nothing bowl game. I've done that.

Mark Edwards: Well, there’s obviously little hope at this point. I don’t know that making a bowl game will even make a difference. Who would want to go? You’ve been BCS bowling and Cotton bowling and I think Hog fans are spoiled. I don’t know that the Poinsettia Bowl against UNLV would really rally the base at this point.
