Dear ArkansasSports360.com readers,
Thank you.
Thank you for investing your time and readership in us these last five plus years. With your help we’ve grown ArkansasSports360.com into the premier web site for sports news in the state.
Thank you for helping us turn ArkansasSports360.com into everything a sports web site is supposed to be.
Thank you for expecting us to be a go-to for breaking sports news. It wasn’t unusual for state, local and national media to follow our lead on reporting.
Thank you for joining the discussion and challenging us to offer relevant analysis and opinion through the unique voices of our staff and contributors.
There are plenty of places to find sports news. There aren’t enough of them where multiple voices are encouraged to lead the discussion, and even fewer where the readers’ thoughts and opinions are valued the way they have been at ArkansasSports360.com
And that’s what makes these next few days so difficult.
Our final day at ArkansasSports360.com will be Friday. These next few days leading up to the 11:59 p.m. shutdown will be a celebration of all we accomplished together since the site launched in 2007.
Arkansas Business Publishing Group is looking to reallocate resources into its core publications. And because ArkansasSports360.com has been difficult to monetize, the decision has been made to close it.
ArkansasSports360.com has been highly read and boasts the most engaged social media audience at ABPG. Unfortunately, ABPG was unable to generate the amount of revenue to keep the site going.
