KUAR-FM, 89.1, rearranged its leadership structure last week, according to station General Manager Ben Fry.

Regina Scruggs, program director for KLRE-FM, 90.5, was scheduled to take the additional role of KUAR program director Thursday. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock operates both public radio stations, and Scruggs will work for both in her new position.

KUAR assignment editor and reporter Michael Hibblen was slated to become the KUAR news director, also on Thursday.

In addition, KUAR will create a content development director position in December, Fry said.

Ex-KUAR program director Ron Breeding left the station last spring after receiving a 30-day notice of termination without cause, Breeding told Outtakes in July.

KUAR isn’t directly replacing Breeding, but his former duties are instead being spread among the three director positions, Fry said.
