Jim Liles, Sandy Cothran Join Crews & Associates (Movers & Shakers)

Accounting

Clay Morgan, Kirsten Banks, Lindi VanSlyke, Michelle Dobson and Nicole Braddock have joined the tax staff at JPMS Cox PLLC in Little Rock.

Jeremy T. Watson has been appointed to serve a five-year term on the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. Watson is a partner at Jones & Co. Ltd. in Jonesboro.

Education

Anastasia Boles and Nicholas Kahn-Fogel have become full-time faculty members at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Prior to the move, Boles was a faculty fellow at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. Kahn-Fogel has served as a visiting assistant professor at Bowen since 2008.

Jane Ann Williams was named assistant provost and director of international engagement at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Before joining UCA, Williams was executive director of international education at Miami Dade College.

Keldon Henley and Wesley Kluck have switched roles at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. After having served as vice president of student services since 2003, Henley has been named vice president for institutional research. And Kluck, who served in the role since 2005, has become vice president of student services. Scott Haynes has been named director of residence life, a role that was previously filled by Henley.

Kerry Darting has been hired as director of basketball operations at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Darting spent the last five seasons in the same position at Illinois State University in Normal.

Erin Hogue has been promoted to director of development for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Division of Student Affairs. She served as associate director of development for the College of Education & Health Professions for more than four years before the move.

Financial Services

Jim Liles and Sandy Cothran have joined the Searcy office of Crews & Associates. Liles has 32 years of experience in the investment banking industry, and Cothran has 15 years of experience. Working together, the two have served Searcy and the surrounding area for more than 12 years.

Elizabeth Bradley has been promoted to senior vice president and director of internal audit at Southern Bancorp Inc. of Little Rock.

Kevin Wish has joined Arvest Bank of Conway as a commercial banker. Before the move, Wish was a community banking relationship manager at Regions Bank.

Health Care

Dr. Jonathan Stringer has joined the medical staff at Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs from the University for Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he served as an internal medicine resident and completed a fellowship in endocrinology.

Dr. Matthew Hardee has joined the Radiation Oncology Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Hardee completed his residency in radiation oncology at New York University School of Medicine.

Insurance

Todd Fisher, Teresa Hampel, Jyll Latham, Machel Carvill and Tiya Williams have been hired at Regions Insurance Group of Little Rock as customer service representatives in the commercial lines department. Morrisa Pruett and Denise Waller have also joined the department, as a claims representative and account manager respectively.

Media

John Atkinson has joined the staff of Arkansas Business Publishing Group as publication art director. Atkinson, who has participated in the design and production of magazine, print and collateral projects in a number of industries, previously was creative director at Atkinson Creative Services of Tampa, Fla. He has won local, regional and national creative awards in categories including television; complete campaign, business and consumer advertising in both magazines and newspapers; direct mail; and poster, annual report and logo design.

Real Estate

Sherry Ryals has joined the Elder Co. of Springdale as chief operating officer. Ryals previously had been with Kings River Title in Fayetteville for six years.

Tonia Coyne has joined Crye-Leike at the Kanis Road office in Little Rock. Before recently getting her real estate license, Coyne was working as an office administrator for the company.
