Melody Trimble Named CEO of Summit Medical Center (Movers & Shakers)

Melody Trimble CEO, Summit Medical Center and Sparks Health System


Ashley Eaton, Michelle Price, Melissa Ibbotson and Pam Eaton have joined the staff at JPMS Cox PLLC of Little Rock. Eaton and Price are members of the small business services team. Ibbotson was hired for assurance support and Essary as a receptionist.


Susan Long has been promoted to associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Health Professions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Long has been with UAMS for 20 years, and for the last eight years has served as chair of the college’s Department of Dental Hygiene.

John P. Jones and Michelle Pribbernow have received promotions at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Jones was named director of the Center for Multicultural & Diversity Education, and Pribbernow was promoted to director of student recruitment for the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences.


Alex Trulove has joined Brown Engineers LLC in Little Rock as a mechanical design engineer.

Financial Services

Trish Henry has been named to the board of directors at Simmons First Bank of Russellville. Henry is president and chief executive officer of the Russellville Steel Co.


Ancil Lea of Conway has been appointed coordinator for the Arkansas Office of Health Information Technology. Lea will replace Ray Scott, who was named the first OHIT coordinator in 2010, when he retires at the end of the year. Lea is currently the executive director of HIT Arkansas, a regional arm of health information efforts through the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

Elizabeth “Liz” Philpott of Maumelle has been hired as a volunteer services coordinator at Keep Arkansas Beautiful, a division of the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism.
