Where the Jobs Are: Long-term Looks Good For Hospitality Sector

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services predicts that the state will add 96,856 jobs in 2010-20, according to its recent report “State of Arkansas: Long-Term Industry & Occupational Projections 2010-2020.”

The leisure and hospitality sector is forecast to see the greatest percentage growth during the period, an addition of 11,928 jobs that translates to an expansion rate of 12.08 percent.

However, the education and health services category is predicted to experience the biggest numerical growth, with 24,422 new jobs forecast by 2020.
