If only cutting government spending — especially on things like foreign aid and free cellphones — would cure our federal deficit without wreaking havoc on the gross domestic product.

If only we could limit sexual activity to those married couples who are simultaneously old enough, mature enough, financially secure enough and willing to become devoted, engaged and educationally supportive parents.

If only America could remain the most free and economically attractive country in the world without actually being attractive to people who don’t seem to understand what illegal immigration means.

Or maybe I should just create a more restrictive Facebook community.
