Movers & Shakers: Robert Johnson Joins Staff at Garver

Engineering

Robert Johnson has joined the energy group staff of Garver LLC in North Little Rock as a senior project manager. Johnson has 30 years of experience in engineering and was employed with Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. from 1983 to 2013.

Daniel Ellis of Rogers has received the 2013 Distinguished Young Alumnus Award from Missouri University of Science & Technology. Ellis, who has practiced at engineering firm Crafton Tull for 13 years, graduated from the university in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Arkansas and Missouri and is a longtime member of the Arkansas Society of Civil Engineers.

Financial Services

Nita Pilkington has been promoted to vice president and business development officer of Centennial Bank in Little Rock. Pilkington, who has 37 years of banking experience and served as one of the company’s original staff members, was most recently employed as branch manager for the Sherwood and Kiehl locations. She also serves as a vanguard member of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of the Sherwood Rotary Club.

Cathy Harville and Greg McCarroll have joined the staff of Centennial Bank in Little Rock. Harville has 12 years of banking experience and worked as vice president of government banking at U.S. Bank before becoming Centennial’s business development officer. McCarroll, who began his employment with Centennial 11 years ago, worked as a commercial banking underwriter for Regions Bank before rejoining Centennial in December.

Fazliddin S. Khodjaberganov has been promoted by Simmons First National Corp. to assistant vice president of the special services group, where he has been a loan review specialist. Khodjaberganov has more than 11 years of financial experience and previously served as a system administrator, processing specialist and credit quality management analyst. He joined Simmons six years ago.

Health Care

Michele Wood has been named director of marketing for the White River Health System in Batesville. Wood joined White River Medical Center in 1992 and worked in administration for 15 years, first as an administrative assistant and more recently as an executive assistant. She has also worked in the hospital’s pharmacy and human resources departments.

Virginia Stuart Chapman Cobb, Steven Collier and Stacy Sells have been appointed to the board of directors of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Foundation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Cobb is a member of the Cancer Institute Auxiliary and also serves as a member of the UAMS Foundation Board and the Chancellor’s Circle. Collier, a family physician for three decades, has been CEO of ARcare at Augusta for 10 years and sits on the boards of Baptist Health and Ouachita Baptist University. Sells, an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, is senior vice president of strategic planning at Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods in Little Rock.

John Burnett has joined the staff of St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro as an inpatient psychiatrist. Burnett previously completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and served as an undergraduate research assistant with William Burns at Arkansas State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies.
