Dennis Wilson Named Associate at BRR Architecture (Movers & Shakers)

Dennis Wilson of Bentonville has been promoted to the position of associate by BRR Architecture. Wilson, who has been with the firm for 12 years, previously worked as a program manager for one of BRR’s national retail clients. As an associate, he is responsible for managing project schedules, fostering client relationships and ensuring quality service.


Mary Boyett, Juanita Lovelace-Stewart and Terry Williams have been elected to the board of directors of TruService Community Federal Credit Union. Each individual will serve a term of three years. Bob Gaddis, Bill McLemore and Wayne McBride were also elected to new positions with Gaddis as chairman, McLemore as vice chairman and McBride as secretary/treasurer.


Dr. Terri Cohen, Don Bacon, Kathy Roberts and Jerry Damerow have been elected to the board of directors of CareLink, a nonprofit agency providing resources for the elderly in central Arkansas. Cohen, a podiatrist at the Little Rock Foot Clinic, also is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Bacon is an attorney at Friday Eldredge & Clark, while Roberts, a retired lawyer, serves on the board of Southern Bancorp Inc. Damerow, also a retired attorney and member of the Southern Bancorp board, is the chairman of Hisco Inc. and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Science. 


Jeremy Adams has joined the staff of the Arkansas Relief Hunger Alliance as a food sourcing and logistics manager. Adams previously served with the Little Rock Air Force Base as an outdoor recreational director with the 19th Force Support Squadron, where he managed up to 21 seasonal and year-round staff members. Liza Poris and Braeden Hall have also joined the ARHA as Vista volunteers for the organization’s Anti-Hunger & Opportunity Corps. Poris, a Hendrix College graduate, will work with the Out-of-School campaign to provide meals to children in need, while Hall, also a Hendrix graduate, will be working to offer educational cooking programs through Cooking Matters.

Jerry Bedford has been named the winner of the 2012 Dan West Fellow Award by the Heifer Foundation’s Trustees Emeriti. Bedford has worked with Heifer International for three decades and serves as the sole creator of Heifer Foundation, from which he retired in 2000.


Melissa Bond has been hired as an executive broker by the Property Group in Little Rock. Bond, an award-winning agent with 30 years of experience, was previously employed as associate broker with the Charlotte John Co. and has served on the board of directors of the Little Rock Realtors Association.
