NextGen Illumination of Fayetteville has partnered with Cherokee Nation Industries to manufacture its LED lighting products.

The products will be manufactured in Stilwell, Okla., where Cherokee Nation Industries is headquartered.

NextGen, an Innovate Arkansas firm, has delivered its first order for 1,000 units, according to a press release. The units manufactured in Stilwell will serve the company's sales in North and South America.

NextGen's LED products offer sustainable lighting solutions for industrial, commercial, residential and agricultural customers.

"The beauty of working with the tribe is their extensive knowledge of manufacturing and production, which allows us to improve on our practices and streamline processes," said Jerry McCormick, vice president of operations for NextGen Illumination, in the release. "We are applying emerging technologies to create state-of-the-art and proprietary products for our customers."

Last summer, NextGen announced it was moving manufacturing back to Fayetteville from Asia.
