FBI Takes Volvo Title, iPads, Cash in Bolt Forfeiture Case

1 min read

The FBI raids on two houses and an office building in Rogers owned by Jim Bolt are mentioned in this week’s cover story about federal forfeiture actions.

Bolt has not been charged with any crime, but an FBI affidavit accuses him of faking documentation to claim $1.9 million in unclaimed stock belonging to a California company.

At the risk of overkill, here are more details from the search warrants:

At 303 S. Rife Drive, a one-story, white brick home in the Country Club Estates Subdivision, agents recovered the title to a 2006 Volvo, $8,420 in cash and $480 in $20 bills; numerous cellphones, iPads, cameras and assorted other electronics.

Items seized at the two-story office building at 1222 W. Poplar include unclaimed property documents and information pertaining to aviation and airplanes. The FBI seized four planes registered to the business Bolt operated in the building, Situs Oncology.

Nothing was seized at 1204 W. Poplar.
