The Village at Hendrix Snags Delta Trust & Bank, Purple Cow Restaurant

1 min read

Delta Trust & Bank and The Purple Cow have announced that they will open locations in the newly constructed Market Square South building in Conway.

Market Square, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year, is in The Village at Hendrix, a new urbanist neighborhood adjacent to Hendrix College. The 30,000-SF building will house three commercial tenants on its ground floor and student residents on its upper two floors.

Ward Davis, CEO of The Village, said Conway Management Inc. will be the third tenant on the ground floor.

Market Square was designed by Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects of Little Rock and is being built by Nabholz Construction Services of Conway. Davis said the project will cost $7.5 million.

According to a Delta news release, the bank and The Purple Cow will open in Market Square early next year, shortly before the residential section of the building becomes available to students in the fall.

The second and third floors of the building will feature clusters of rooms surrounding common areas, a layout designed to allow students with similar interests and academic emphases to mingle.
